Sam & Max Surfin' the Highway
Twenty years ago, they burst onto the indie comic book scene with a daring venture to the Philippines (drawn entirely without reference) called "Monkeys Violating the Heavenly Temple." Today they're the stars of an Eisner-nominated webcomic and a successful episodic game series. Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell and Telltale are celebrating these milestones with exciting news: the complete Sam & Max collection, Surfin' the Highway, is back in print!

In addition to all of the content of the 1995 original, the new edition contains 25 pages of content developed over the last two decades, bringing the page count to 197 with 45 pages in full color. The new content includes advertisements for the original Freelance Police comic book, a color version of "Fair Wind to Java," and recent paintings promoting Telltale's Sam & Max games and the DVD release of the Sam & Max Freelance Police animated series.

The collection is available in two versions: a paperback edition (shown at right), and a signed and numbered, limited edition hardcover.

To buy the book, select whichever version you want (or both!) and any other merchandise that tickles your fancy, then click Proceed to Your Cart. If you want more than one of something, you will be able to change quantities in the next step of checkout.

Highway Surfing Poster Print$14.99 or $19.99
In the summer of 2006, Computer Gaming World did a story to reveal the first details about a little computer game known as Sam & Max Season One. Die-hard Sam & Max fans had expressed concerns about just how Max would be able to highway surf in the new convertible iteration of the DeSoto. To put their minds at ease, Steve Purcell painted an original cover for the magazine to show just how it's done.

This print is available unsigned for $14.99, or signed for $19.99. It is printed using the same materials as the street print (below), and they'd look great side by side on your wall!
